GameBoy Jam 13

A team from our discord participated in this year’s GBJam with a game inspired by the deity Zhong-Kui. I personally had a lot more fun this year without a massive crunch at the end (for the artists) and I’m really proud of our final submission. The restrictions of this event are that you have 10 days to make a game from start to finish which: 1) only uses gameboy inputs, 2) only uses 4 colours, and 3) is only 160×144 pixels. We also had to incorporate the secondary theme “unlucky.” If you want to try out our game, give it a shot here!
